Danish House
There are two main property assets that the Auckland Danish Society maintains for the benefit of its members. Danish House can be booked for things like social events and fund raising dinners, while Valhalla is a ready venue for weekend holidays.
Danish House
This facility is the main club rooms and function hall of the Danish Society.
The main feature is a spacious hall capable of seating 100 for dinner and up to 200 for meetings. This room boasts a sprung dance floor, adjoining bar and kitchen facilities, which combined can accommodate a wide variety of club activities.
A smaller function room/library area also has bar/kitchen access and houses a collection of Danish books and videos.
Several smaller rooms upstairs provide facility for small-group activities away from the main function rooms.
Danish House is located next to Mount Smart, close to State Highway 1, at 6 Rockridge Avenue in Penrose, making it accessible to members living throughout Auckland.
